KINGSTON TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — PennDOT has announced that part of Carverton Road will be closed starting Thursday, September 12 to approximately the second week of October 2024.
The closure, that was set for last week, was delayed due to materials not being available on time.
Temporary traffic pattern change during I-80 road work
PennDOT will be working to perform an emergency pipe replacement that will impact Route 1036 (Carverton Road) between McDermott Lane and 8th Street in Kingston, according to PennDOT.

The detour route includes traveling from 8th Street to Mt. Olivet Road and exiting by Manor Drive.
PennDOT encourages motorists to check their Traffic Bulletin for updates during the project.
