DICKSON CITY, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Dickson City residents can expect traffic delays on a roadway as crews make an emergency gas main repair.
According to the Dickson City Fire Department, the 1000 block of Throop Street has been closed off to all traffic due to urgent natural gas main repairs.

The repairs are taking place after a main was struck during a utility pole replacement.
Crews said there is no time frame as to when the completion of the repairs and replacement of the pole will be done.
