LUZERNE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — If pumpkins are more your thing then you only need to head to Main Street in Luzerne for the borough's 26th annual Fall Pumpkin Festival.
More than 160 vendors were on hand with everything from craft stands and clothing booths to food trucks and locally sourced produce.
The festival also featured live wood carving, free pumpkin decorating, and live music. The Luzerne Merchants Association hosted the event.
Taking a run through history in Forty Fort
Organizers estimate total attendance to be in the thousands.
"We've got pumpkins, we've got music, we've got vendors, we've got everything, we've got just incredible the balloon twister here we've got I think 16 food trucks we've got 160 vendors and we've just got every town imaginable coming and visiting," explained Alyssa Fusaro the event coordinator.
Organizers of the Luzerne Fall Pumpkin Festival say their goal is to bring back small-town America while helping bring the local community together.
