PLAINS TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Onto some partying and the oom pah pah of live music and dancing.
Mohegan Pennsylvania Oktoberfest is underway people poured onto the casino grounds to enjoy the festivities.
It is not just people on hand. The event features a wiener dog race and everything from beer tastings to traditional German food providing a sample of Germany's finest here in northeastern Pennsylvania.

"There is something for everyone really. There is wiener dog race, we have stein holding, we have entertainment back to back to back all day long," says Jennifer Ducharme the director of events. You still have time to enjoy Mohegan Pennsylvania Oktoberfest. It runs until 11:00 Saturday night near Wilkes-Barre.
