SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A special blessing after Sunday worship helped kick off a delicious fundraiser in West Scranton.
Saint Ann Maronite Church Pastor Antoun Youssef, or Father Tony, as he is more commonly known, did the honors to begin the church's Annual Lebanese Heritage Festival.
The festival featured traditional Lebanese foods such as tabbouleh, stuffed grape leaves, and kibbeh, as well as a large assortment of pastries and desserts.

The festival brings together generations of congregants and community members.
"So hopefully every year we are trying to make it bigger and bigger. and the people from that belong to our church they come from all over the United States," Father Tony said.
Father Tony says the Lebanese Festival makes up a large part of the church's budget.
