DUNMORE, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police say a Dunmore man has been arrested for possession and dissemination of child sexual abuse material.
On September 17, state police, along several other other agencies followed up on a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children which said a social media user was in possession of, and disseminating material containing child sex abuse.

This enabled authorities to apply for a warrant to search a man's electronic devices along with his home in the 300 block of Elizabeth Street in Dunmore.
After serving the warrant, state police say Michael Latona, 49, Dunmore, was allegedly in possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
Latona was charged with 45 felony counts of sexual abuse of children and other related charges according to a release from State Police.
