SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A Scranton man hit a cop car while attempting to flee an arrest for alleged drug-related crimes, according to police.
Rashawn Edwards, 44, was being arrested for unlawful delivery of a controlled substance when he attempted to flee from police, as stated in the criminal complaint.

Investigators say Edwards reversed his car into the front of a marked police vehicle when trying to flee the scene after officers turned their sirens and lights on.
Edwards was eventually arrested for allegedly selling bags of suspected cocaine and fentanyl to a confidential informant.
He has been charged with manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to deliver, resisting arrest, and other related offenses.
