WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police say they are investigating an incident where shots were fired near food trucks in Wilkes-Barre over the weekend.
According to the Wilkes-Barre City Police Department, on September 21 around 2:00 a.m., officers were called to North Wilkes-Barre Boulevard for a report of a man firing off a handgun near several food trucks.

Once on the scene, officers were told that the suspect had fled the area in a gray vehicle with no license plate attached.
No one was injured and no property was damaged during the incident.
Evidence was taken from the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
