WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A woman had to be taken to a nearby hospital and a home's garage was badly damaged after a car crashed into a Wilkes-Barre home Wednesday.
Officials told 28/22 News they were called to Brader Drive around 3:30 p.m. for reports of a car into a home.

Captain Eric Serafin of the Wilkes-Barre Fire Department says the woman's vehicle hit several objects before hitting the garage of a home.
The garage sustained major damage and the driver was taken to a nearby hospital to be checked out, Captain Serafin explained,
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
