HAZLETON, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police say they are investigating a BB gun shooting in Hazleton Friday afternoon.
According to the Hazleton City Police, officers were called to West 10th Street and North Locust Street for a possible gunshot victim.
Police say they learned that a group was sitting outside when the victim felt a sharp pain on the right side.

The victim had a small puncture wound consistent with a shot from a BB gun, officers said and he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Inveistgators noted that officers did serve a search warrant on ahome in the same area where the suspected shot was fired from. At this time no arrest has been made.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
