STROUDSBURG, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Kids brought their bikes indoors for an inaugural fundraiser in Stroudsburg.
Pocono Family YMCA was the scene Sunday for a first-ever Bicycle Rodeo.
It featured six stations and allowed kids to decorate their bikes, learn about bike skills and safety, and have fun riding with friends.
Raising awareness at Wrongful Conviction Rally in Wilke-Barre
The Browns, who say they often ride bikes together as a family, were among those on hand.
"So this is something we can do as a family with him," said David Brown.
"And we encourage anything we can do in the community so it's wonderful," Laura Brown added.
The Kiwanis Club donated bicycles for children to borrow if they did not have their own bikes.
Proceeds from the Bicycle Rodeo will be split among three organizations.
