Pennsylvania State Police Frackville say they were called at about 8:00 p.m. to the unit block of Franklin Street in East Union Township to help in a death investigation that happened the morning of September 28.

After their investigation, troopers say 67-year-old John Francis Gustites was taken into custody and was charged with third-degree criminal homicide, recklessly endangering another person, simple assault, and aggravated assault.

Gustites was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge David Plachko and is currently being held at the Schuylkill County Prison.
