SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The Nuns on the Bus and Friends Tour made its way to Scranton for a town hall-style meeting, discussing key issues ahead of the November election.
The nuns held a meeting at Marywood University as part of the Vote Our Future voter education tour.

The sisters started the tour Monday and will travel from Philadelphia to San Francisco making several stops along the way.
This marks the first in-person tour in six years and will highlight inclusion multiracial, and multi-faith democracy.
"So our mission is, is really get people out to vote. That's important democracy is important and that all of us together can really build a community that everyone thrives," said Board of Directors and Network member Sister Robbie Pentecost.
Nuns on the Bus and Friends tour will wrap up on October 18.
