AVOCA, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Breeze Airways launches service to Fort Myers from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Thursday, with more service to Tampa later in October.
Officials announced starting October 3, Breeze Airways is offering affordable nonstop flights, Thursdays and Sundays, to Fort Myers from Wilkes-Barre/ Scranton International Airport.
They also noted that starting on October 18 flights to Tampa will be available through Breeze Airways Mondays and Fridays.
Fares on the new route start from just $75 one way.

"The addition of Fort Myers marks exciting growth for AVP, and presents a brand-new opportunity to enhance airline service and got residents of Northeastern Pennsylvania to visit the southwestern region of Florida," stated Carl Beardsley, Jr., AVP Executive Director.
Breeze officials say they don’t charge change or cancellation fees up to 60 minutes before departure and offer other benefits such as free family seating and a la carte pricing.
