SCHUYLKILL COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — While many prepare for Milton, many continue to pick up what's left after Hurricane Helene devastated the area a few weeks ago.
On Tuesday, a GoFundMe was set up based in Schuylkill County to help those impacted by Hurricane Helene in North Carolina.
The Skook Road Trip Relief GoFundMe will provide over 4,800 meals to the Asheville and Black Mountain Region.
Florida man to brave Hurricane Milton
More than 20 volunteers for Schuylkill County will take thousands of pounds of food and supplies to the area.
So far, the GoFundMe has raised over $65,000.
