Third suspect chagred after Bloomsburg shooting

BLOOMSBURG, COLUMBIA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — State police say they have charged a third suspect for a Bloomsburg shooting investigation.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, troopers have identified Nicholas Romeo Jones, 20, from Berwick, as the third suspect involved in a Bloomsburg shooting investigation.

Police did not go into detail on Jones's involvement just that he has been charged with robbery and criminal use of a communication facility.

Jones was taken to the Columbia County Correctional Facility on a $75,000 straight bail.

State police report on October 4, a man, 23-year-old Tyler Brown, was found in the parking lot of Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital suffering from gunshot wounds after he was shot in a parking lot on Irondale Road.

DA: Man killed in police involved shooting pointed gun at officers

An arrest warrant for the shooting suspect, Joseph Teneyck, 19, has been issued. Teneyck faces attempted homicide, robbery, and aggravated assault.

Brown was charged with stolen property and weapons offenses after investigators discovered he was in possession of a stolen gun.
