SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police have released a traffic advisory ahead of former President Trump's visit to the Electric City.
According to the Scranton Police Department, former President Donald Trump will speak at 3:00 p.m. at Riverfront Sports on West Olive Plaza.
Officers warn residents that traffic congestion and temporary road closures are expected around the venue and along Trump's undisclosed travel route.

Police noted that residents not attending the rally should avoid the area around the intersection of Providence Road and Olive Street. They also recommend contacting businesses near the venue to confirm hours of operation.
Those attending the rally should know that parking availability is limited and police ask those to be mindful of "no parking" and "no trespassing" signs posted around the area.
