Two Minersville officers charged with making false reports

United States Attorney Gerard M. Karam says on February 2, 2022, 43-year-old Harry Brown of Pottsville, and 50-year-old Richard Clink, of Minersville, violated a man's constitutional rights by using unreasonable force, resulting in the man being injured.

The indictment further alleges Brown and Clink then "falsified, covered up, and made false entries into police reports documenting the arrest and their use of force during that arrest," according to a media release.

The incident was investigated by the Minersville Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
