Dozens got to dig in at Ziti dinner to support Boy Scouts

WEST PITTSTON, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A good meal for a good cause: On Monday, dozens came out to support Boy Scout Troop 352.

Based out of Bethlehem, the scouts held a Ziti dinner at the First United Methodist Church in West Pittston.

For $10, diners got a nice portion of Ziti, bread, and salad served along with the troop's secret recipe dressing.

All the money raised will pay for excursions the scouts take throughout the year.

"We appreciate all the support we can get and we're always looking for new members too so if anyone sees this and is interested in scouts send them along," said Troop 352 Scout Master Alex Krispin.

The dinner also came with cake for dessert.

The troop holds this dinner every Columbus and Presidents Day.
