FORTY FORT, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A local garden center is warning about the dangers frost could have on plants.
Frost advisories are in place for a good portion of central and eastern Pennsylvania on Monday.
At Edwards Garden Center in Forty-Fort, experts say if you have plants outside, make sure to cover them with a plastic bag or move them indoors.

Mums are a popular flower this time of year and while they can withstand light frosts, it's better to be safe than sorry.
"With mums early in the morning when we saw the frost on the plants we actually watered we took a hose and watered and we washed the plants you can actually see a little bit of a, almost a haze coming off the plants and that just protects them," Edward's Garden Center Owner Ed Kopec said.
Edward's Garden Center has been open for 46 years and is open Monday through saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Sundays from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
