Sunday currently serves as York County's District Attorney and is a Navy veteran. Throughout his campaign, he's pledged to uphold the state's laws regardless of his political beliefs and said there is "no scenario where I would ever prosecute a woman for having an abortion."
DePasquale previously served as Pennsylvania's Auditor General and has prioritized abortion rights and protecting democracy in his campaign. He's faced criticism from Republicans for never being a prosecutor, however, DePasquale has pointed to investigations his office conducted regarding untested rape kits.
