LANSFORD, CARBON COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A fire burned through a home in Carbon County Thursday night.
According to American Fire Company #1, crews were dispatched around 10:30 p.m. Thursday night to the 200 block of Ridge Street for a fire with entrapment.
Fire Chief Joseph Greco states it started at the end of a section three-row home on Ridge Street.
One person from the home exited outside the porch roof while two others made it out on their own, and were transported to Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest for smoke inhalation and respiratory burns,

Two other people in the nearby row homes were transported for anxiety attacks to Saint Luke's Miners.
Officials note the fire was able to be contained to just one of the row homes gutting the first and second floors.
The fire was caused by an appliance plugged into an electrical outlet, as stated by Chief Greco.
