WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — King's College is set to host a free "Things that Go Boom in the Night" Halloween event for families on October 30.
The King's College Department of Chemistry and Physics is offering a free event with interactive science activities, including faculty-led demonstrations.

“Children will get to experience hands-on science like making chromatography ghosts, ‘alien eyeballs,’ exploding eggs, colorful flames, and oozing Jack-O-Lanterns,” said Julie Belanger, Ph.D., chair of the Department of Chemistry and Physics.
The event will take place on the third floor of the Sheehy-Farmer Student Center from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. No registration is required and attendees are encouraged to come in costume.
King's College is located at 133 North River Street, Wilkes-Barre, and the student center is located at the center of campus or can be found on the campus map.
