DICKSON CITY, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— Dozens of families got out for a fun fall event this afternoon in Lackawanna County.
NEPA Strong held their fifth annual ultimate trunk or treat and Halloween marketplace today at the Circle Drive In.
The organization's goal is to bring local businesses and people together to support and empower each other.

The free event is funded entirely by sponsors and local businesses.
In addition to candy, countless activities are available for families including face painting, live music, and character appearances.
Organizers say its something they look forward to every year.
"So it's a yes day for parents. They can say yes to face painting, yes to balloons animals, character appearances, bubbles, music. Everything's free because of the generosity of the northeast pa small businesses and community," explained NEPA Strong admin Kristen Miller-Hahn.
Organizers say more than 1,500 kids came out to Saturday's event.
