Fourth Annual Bazaar of the Bizarre held at F.M. Kirby Center

WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Our historic F.M. Kirby Center and many local businesses are feeling the love on Sunday.

The Fourth Annual Bazaar of the Bizarre was held at the Kirby Center by the local oddity shop, The Strange and Unusual.

Attendees could find over 40 different vendors offering everything from knitting to hoagies and even craft root beer.

Josh Balz, the founder of the event, tells 28/22 News that while the event does fit a Halloween theme, he hopes these vendors receive support all year round.

"It's not just about October, it's about all year round. All these people have these businesses twelve months out of the year, so I encourage people to not only come here and support, but then follow them for the rest of year, and supporting their business throughout the entire year," Balz explained.

The event has wrapped up Sunday afternoon and everyone is invited to come out next year.
