SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — It was a howling good time at a park in Scranton on Sunday. The Sixth Annual Howl-O-Ween Pet Parade was held at McDade Park
Pets were graded in five different categories, including scariest, cutest, and most original.
79 pets participated in the pet parade.
The Scariest Award went to a donkey costume, while the Cutest was a pumpkin patch costume. A spaghetti and meatballs costume took the Funniest Category and a costume referencing the Pixar movie, Up, included with balloons, won Most Original.

Best in Show went to the chihuahua mix CJ rocking the Pennywise and Georgie costume from the horror film, IT. This is the third year CJ won Best in Show.
"Everybody loves their pets. Especially this year the weather is fantastic. It's a fun time. There's music, food, vendors. It's fun to see how creative and how tolerant everyone is with their costumes," said PAWSitively for the Animals Treasurer Lisa Young.
"I feel good they picked him. I'm grateful and excited they picked him. There were great outfits here," said Kunkletown resident and CJ's owner Alishia Schafer.
All the money raised goes to the PAWsitively Pets Maddie Fund, which provides food and veterinary funds for the less fortunate in northeast PA.
