Man charged with attempted murder in NJ arrested in Pa.

SHENANDOAH, SCHUYLKILL COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police say while investigating an incident, they arrested a man wanted in New Jersey for attempted murder.

On Thursday, October 24 around 5:30 p.m., the Shenandoah Borough Police Department responded to the 200 block of South Jardin Street for a report of a domestic dispute.

Officers said once on the scene, they learned a man inside the home, identified as Frannicia Venture-Dion, had an active warrant out from the Cumberland County Sheriff's office in New Jersey for attempted murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a weapon.

Venture-Dion was arrested and taken to the Schuylkill County prison on a $500,000 straight cash bail.
