LARKSVILLE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Some trick-or-treaters are getting the jump on Halloween this weekend.
Costumed kids and their families turned out today in Larksville for the second annual State Street Elementary School trunk or treat.
More than 50 children dressed up and stopped by several stations to clean up candy and other treats.

Among the kids, there was a ten-year-old boy who spoke to 28/22 News about his costume and favorite candy.
"It's a box I'm being carried away in a box of Reese's," says Lucas Warnagiris from Larksville.
Kids were not the only winners here.
Wyoming Valley West School District awarded a prize to the top three decorated trunks at this trunk-or-treat in Luzerne County.
