Bridge beam deliveries may cause delays across NEPA

EYEWITNESS NEWS (WBRE/WYOU)— Bridge beam deliveries will cause delays and close a parking area in Scranton.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation states that the the Parker Street Heritage Valley parking area in Scranton from Monday, October 28, 2024 through Thursday, October 31, 2024.

The beams will be delivered Monday and Tuesday going down Interstate 81 South and taking Exit 202 to Route 107 southbound.

They then will take the following route until they arrive at the Parker Street Bridge Project in Scranton:

Business Route 6 westbound to Route 247 southbound in EynonRoute 247 southbound to Route 1023 southbound (Gino Merli Drive in Blakely Borough)Route 1023 southbound to Main St in Blakely BoroughMain Street to Route 2006 Boulevard Avenue from Dickson City to ScrantonBoulevard Avenue to East Parker Street.
