PLYMOUTH, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A local community is scaring up a good time this weekend for some early Halloween fun. Kids dressed head to toe in their favorite costumes showed up Sunday afternoon at Goodwill Hose Company in Plymouth.
It's the first-ever Shawnee Spooktacular put on by Plymouth Alive.
A bounce house, pumpkin decorating, and walking tacos were part of the fun.
Plymouth Fire Department, the Shawnee Indians Football Program, and the Historical Society are a few community organizations that helped set up the event.

The festive family fun is a new way for the Plymouth community to celebrate.
"This event was an amazing reminder that we have much more in common than we do apart so it was so nice to see everyone come together like this," said President of Plymouth Alive Alexis Eroh.
"Honestly I think it is amazing and I'm so thankful to the Mayor and Alexis. It's absolutely great idea to do this. I think we should have another one," Addisyn Hufford from Plymouth said.
Sunday's Halloween event was free, but organizers say any money raised will be distributed back into the community.
