EAST STROUDSBURG, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police are investigating shots fired that occurred at East Stroudsburg University on Sunday.
Early Sunday morning, East Stroudsburg University students received an email notifying them of shots fired near the Zimbar Gym.
University police have detained several persons of interest related to the shooting, according to the email.

There have been no reports of injuries or why the shooting took place.
