POTTSVILLE, SCHUYLKILL COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The City of Pottsville welcomed a new mayor on Tuesday.
City officials announced Councilmen Mark Atkinson will take on the role beginning Wednesday.
President Biden coming to Scranton Saturday
Atkinson has been a council member since 2010, was in the Navy, and was a member of the Pottsville Fire Department.
Atkinson will be sworn in on Wednesday.
