TRUCKSVILLE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — On Wednesday night, Cross Creek Community Church in Trucksville held its annual trunk-or-treat event.
Hundreds came out in costume to get their hands on candy.
Food trucks were also on hand in case trick-or-treaters got hungry.

The event was free and provided families with a safe community event that everyone could enjoy.
"It's just an exciting event that we're able to put on for the community, just to let the community know that we love them that we care about them and that we are here for the community and tons and tons of candy," said Cross Creek Community Church Pastor Josh Coldren.
Trunk-or-treats became popular during the pandemic, and have become a seasonal favorite ever since.
