WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — With just five days to go it's a battleground blitz in the Keystone State with our 19 electoral votes up for grabs.

In the final days of campaigning, vice presidential candidate Tim Walz's wife Gwen made a stop in Wilkes-Barre rallying for the Democratic ticket.

This packed room was filled with supporters of Harris and Walz as election day nears. During the First Lady of Minnesota's visit, she touches on several topics concerning this election.

NEPA’s forgotten voters

"We have such a critical election here. There's so much on the ballot and women's reproductive rights are on the ballot. Basic human rights are on the ballot and I decided to come in and get involved," stated Adam Ciechoski from Wilkes-Barre.

"When it comes to decisions about our own body and our own lives it was our choice, yes whose choice is it? Ours, you bet it is," added Gwen Walz.
