PLYMOUTH, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— Veterans Day is just over a week away and some communities are already honoring area vets.
The first Veterans Parade in Plymouth stepped off this morning in honor of those who have served.
This parade was organized by the Rotary Club of Plymouth to show veterans in the community, and throughout our area just how much they are appreciated.
The organizers say they could not have done this without the help and support of the community.
"To try to put it together to recognize the veterans day parade on all the things that veterans have done for us. I have veterans in my family and they've been an important part of my life since I've been born," expressed John Karavis, Organizer of the veterans parade.
The parade ended at the Rotary Club of Plymouth where everyone enjoyed some food and music.
