According to Chief Jay Delaney, crews were called to the former Master Chemical Products on Carey Avenue for a structure fire.

Crews used an aerial ladder to get firefighters to the roof , and vent holes were cut to access the fire to clear smoke out of the structure.
Officials say that venting the roof was demanding and time-consuming due to the thickness of the roof and battling the falling fiery debris from inside the building.
Crews were on-scene for around three hours.
One firefighter was injured, but officials could not comment on his condition.
