STROUDSBURG, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Ahead of Veterans Day on Monday, November 11, a school in Monroe County is honoring those past and present who serve our country.
Over 1,400 flags line the school lawn of Stroudsburg High School.
This was organized through the school's Community Connections Club.

For just $1, each flag will have the name rank, and branch of a veteran.
Those proceeds will be donated to the Valor Clinic Foundation.
"They were amazed. I actually stopped down at the VFW a couple days ago because they also were supporting us and the Valor house and they were just so thankful that we recognized them. And they were hoping we could keep it up a little bit longer, but I said don't worry this is not the last of it," Community Connections Club Advisor Heather Nowosad said.
The Valor Clinic looks to provide veterans with benefits including shelter and mental health programs.
