Little Angel's Closet opens in Old Forge

OLD FORGE, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A veteran-owned women's and children's clothing store that is brand new to the Old Forge area is hoping to help a group that cares for our four-legged friends.

After losing her dog, the Marine Corps veteran decided she wanted to do something not just for other dogs but for people as well.

That is when Alexis Poslusny decided to open Little Angel's Closet named after her dog Angel.

"When she passed, I was kind of lost not knowing what to do. I figured I had to make a difference, so I decided through a friend of mine I found a rescue they are based in Benton Pennsylvania. It's called Rescue Pets Serving Vets," said Alexis Posluszny.

The nonprofit organization allows veterans to adopt dogs free of charge. Little Angel's Closet plays a role by donating 25% of each purchase to rescue pets serving vets.
