OVERTON TOWNSHIP, BRADFORD COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — One man is in custody after a shooting Wednesday morning in Bradford County.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, 25-year-old Isaiah Covert of New Albany was taken into custody for shooting his neighbor twice after an altercation on the 700 block of Morris Road.
Police say that Covert engaged in a dispute with his 75-year-old neighbor before the argument escalated near their residences. The neighbor shot twice from his pistol while Covert fired numerous shots from his firearm striking the neighbor in his arm and abdomen, PSP said.

Officials say the 75-year-old man was transported to Robert Packer Hospital with serious injuries.
Covert was charged with a felony charge of aggravated assault of a deadly weapon and was remanded to Bradford County Correctional Facility.
