EYEWITNESS NEWS (WBRE/WYOU) — A Danville man has been convicted on drug charges related to a multi-year conspiracy to manufacture and distribute fentanyl and fentanyl analogs.
According to The United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, 52-year-old Anthony Bressi from Danville was convicted on November 4 following a six-day jury trial.
U.S. Attorney Gerard M. Karam stated Bressi was convicted on charges of conspiracy to manufacture and distribute fentanyl, carfentanil, and 3-methyl fentanyl, and possession with intent to distribute acetyl fentanyl.

Bressi used his business Shiva Science and Technology in East Buffalo Township, to make several fentanyl analogs that he would then sell to his distributors in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Cleveland, Ohio areas from 2015 through 2019, U.S. Attorney Karam continued.
The release explains Bressi used Shiva Science and Technology as a front counting to conceal the fentanyl manufacturing operation and he manufactured hundreds of kilograms of fentanyl analogs which is equivalent to millions of individual doses.
Bressi has been detained pending sentencing. The date has not been specified yet by the court.
Bressi faces a maximum lifetime term of imprisonment.
