EYEWITNESS NEWS (WBRE/WYOU) — A Tamaqua man has been sentenced for luring a child near his car and exposing himself.
District Attorney Gavin P. Holihan announced that 62-year-old Blaine Alan Arner of Tamaqua was sentenced for an indecent exposure case in Lynn Township, Lehigh County in March 2024.
Arner was ordered to serve 7 ½-15 years in prison after a hearing on November 7.

The victim told police Arner was driving a blue pickup truck, stopped his truck on the side of the road, and asked if she wanted to see his dog. When the victim got near the truck, Arner opened the driver’s side front door of the vehicle and exposed himself, police stated.
Arner was sentenced on the following charges;
Luring a child into a motor vehicle
Indecent exposure
Open lewdness
Arner must register for life as a sexually violent predator and when he is released he will serve 15 years of probation.
