PA US Senate race vote on hold for Veterans Day weekend

SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The vote count in the Pennsylvania US Senate Race between incumbent Democrat Bob Casey and Republican Dave McCormick is on hold due to Veterans Day weekend.

The voting temporarily stopped Saturday night with Casey trailing McCormick by more than 40,000 votes, or six-tenths of a percentage point.

LCTA to offer veterans free rides in Luzerne County

Thousands of provisional votes still need to be counted.

Also, thousands of voters, whose ballots were rejected due to identification issues, have until Tuesday to make corrections in order for those ballots to be counted.
