CHESTNUTHILL TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— One woman is dead after a fatal crash Saturday night involving alcohol, according to officials.
Monroe County Corner Tom Yanac says that 47-year-old Rebecca Martin from Phillipsburg, New Jersey was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to a Pennsylvania State Police release, police were called at 10:46 p.m. to the 1600 block of Route 209 just south of Pleasant Valley Lane for a crash with entrapment.

Officials say the vehicle was traveling north on Route 209 at a high rate of speed when the operator went off the road and struck a utility pole.
Troopers state that the driver was driving under the influence, sustained serious injuries, and was transported to Lehigh Valley Pocono.
Martin, who was the passenger, was not wearing a seatbelt according to the release.
The crash is under investigation by Pennsylvania State Police.
An autopsy is scheduled for November 12.
