Keystone Central School District staff charged with corruption of minors

LOCK HAVEN, CLINTON COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Two former employees of Keystone Central School District have pled guilty to sex-related offenses.

In July 36-year-old Dana Ann Kitchen from Lock Haven and 29-year-old Brittany Kay Koch of Beech Creek were charged with sending explicit messages to a child.

According to the Clinton County District Attorney's Office, Kitchen engaged in repeated sexually explicit messages, including photos and videos with two juvenile males using Snapchat in 2023.

Koch also engaged in sexually explicit Snapchat messaging, including photographs and videos, with a juvenile male in 2023 while she was employed as support staff, officials reported.

Kitchen pled guilty to one count of Corruption Of Minors and two counts of unlawful contact With a Minor. She faces a maximum of 21 years in prison.

Koch pled guilty to one count of corruption of minors and one count of unlawful contact with a minor. She faces a maximum of 14 years in prison.

Both women will be awaiting sentencing scheduled for February 2025. Due to both guilty pleas, they must register as Megan Law's Offenders for at least 25 years.
