VIDEO: Bucks duke it out in man's front yard

MILFORD, PIKE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Two bucks were caught on camera going head to head in a man's front yard in Pike County.

Ryan Miller sent the video to 28/22 News. He says the two bucks were fighting it out in his front yard Monday night in Milford.

The two can be seen slamming their antlers together and skidding across grass and gravel during the several minute duel. At one point they even crashed into a swing set.

At one point a car starts blowing its horn at the pair, seemingly to make sure they didn't get too close to the vehicle.

According to the Pennsylvania Game Commission, "during the breeding season adult and yearling bucks tend to stay alone except when in pursuit of a female."

The Game Commission also says the breeding season for white-tailed deer begins as early as September and can last into late January, often reaching its peak in mid-November.
