MAHANOY TWP., SCHUYLKILL COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A deadly two-vehicle crash shuts down a road in Schuylkill County Thursday afternoon.
Schuylkill County Communications Center tells 28/22 News around 3:30 p.m. crews responded to a fatal crash involving a tractor-trailer and a sedan on Morea Road in Mahanoy Township.
Truck driver charged with homicide after deadly crash in Monroe County
One person has been reported dead as a result of the crash. State police are continuing to investigate.
Morea Road is currently closed in the area of Burma Road and Vulcan Hill Road. There is no word at this time if anyone else was injured in the crash.
