WYOMING COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — It's a big day for people looking for a better path in life. They graduated from Wyoming and Sullivan County Treatment Court on Thursday.
It's a program for people with alcohol or substance addictions who have been charged with non-violent crimes.
Suspected gang members waive rights during preliminary hearings
The participants attended weekly court sessions, random alcohol or substance testing, community service, and intensive cognitive behavioral treatment.
The five people who completed all the requirements graduated Thursday in Tunkhannock.
Since its inception, over 100 people have successfully completed the program.
