PITTSTON, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Christmas is a little more than four weeks away, but that didn't stop some local families from celebrating early.
Coffee Inclusive in Pittston welcomed back the Sensitive Santa program on Sunday for a second straight year.
Sensitive Santa is an adapted Santa visit for children and families with special needs.
More than 100 children attended the event.

It featured craft making, music therapy, and aromatherapy in dimmed lighting to avoid over-stimulation.
The highlight for many families was to have their child visit Santa without feeling intimidated or anxious.
"Here they know that they will be received however they show up. They can take as long as they want to through this experience or as little time as they need to, to move through this experience," said Event Coordinator Terry Tokach.
Coffee Inclusive holds Sensitive Santa in partnership with PA Inclusive… And plans to bring back the program again next holiday season.
