PLAINS TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A local holiday season tradition is back on track. The Hudson Model Railroad Club opened its doors for the winter last weekend.
Visitors are invited to come explore their intricate model train displays.
The club was founded in 1980 and is located above the Polish American club.
The 30 members of the club spend the year crafting and updating their layouts, offering a unique way for families to experience creativity and history together.

"It's just nice to see the families smile, and have the kids enjoy the layout and see the model trains," Communications Liaison for Hudson Model Railroad Club Ted Sherrill explained.
The Hudson Model Railroad Club is open to the public through January when they will then announce their summer dates.
Members say they are always welcoming new enthusiasts to join their community.
You can visit them at 97 Martin Street in Hudson or message them on Facebook.
