WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Making sure everyone has a reason to celebrate was the goal of a new restaurant in Luzerne County.
Burnt Norton in Downtown Wilkes-Barre prepared a Thanksgiving breakfast for three downtown Wilkes-Barre senior living apartments.
Thanks to the community, hundreds of residents at B'nai Birth, Washington Square, and Allied Services were treated to a Thanksgiving breakfast which included a coffee breakfast sandwich and even hashbrowns.

"From the staff and community together, I mean everybody's been a really big help they've donated, they've offered their time to deliver the meals. My kitchen has helped me with a lot of the cooking," said Dezarae sebecky the owner of Burnt Norton.
This means so much to me. As we were giving out food, I know, one of the residents said that they've been living there for thirty years and nobody has ever done anything like that for them," added Barbie a volunteer.
The owner says they hope to make this a yearly tradition.
